Classic Demo Race Hierden

Classic motorsport on the roads of Hierden

The Classic Demo Race in Hierden is an annual event organized by the Supplementary Motorsport Foundation (SAM). Classic road motorcycles from the 1970s and 1980s compete in a regularity race on the village's public roads. The winner is not the fastest, but the most consistent competitor. SAM uses a build year limit of December 31, 1987, with the exception of the Endurance class, where 1989 applies.

Several classes at the start in Hierden

Motorcycles in various engine displacement classes will be on the starting grid: from 50cc and 125cc to 250cc, 350cc, 500cc, 750cc, and sidecars. Endurance and EVO classes will also be participating. Brands like Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Triumph, and BMW will be represented. There's always a spot available for motorcycles from before 1972 or with smaller displacements.

Free to view along the route

The course runs along Grevenhofsweg, Kruisweg, Berkenboomsweg, Snippendalseweg, and Brouwersbosweg in Hierden. Spectators are welcome along the sidelines. For more information about participating and the program, visit the SAM Motorsport website.
