Plantagekerk

Discover the Plantagekerk (1932), a well-preserved monument in Amsterdamse Schoolstijl with stained glass. Visit it during Open Monumentendag!

The Plantagekerk is not open to the public throughout the year. During this Open Monumentendag, the Plantagekerk is open on Saturday 12 September. The Plantagekerk was built in 1932, based on the design of the Harderwijker architect P.H. van Lonkhuyzen. The entire church, including the tower, is constructed from dark red bricks in a chain bond. The main entrance consists of a wide, round arch made of six courses of brick and a wide double door with wrought-iron hinges. The windows are filled with coloured stained glass. The interior of the church has been largely preserved. Information about the programme of PodiumPlantage will follow.
